I've never seen anything like it! I've included a picture of that. We took our leftovers home (I loved that they brought around little doggie bags in case you wanted one.) The next day a family member was eating some of the chicken, and found a deep fried feather still attached. The knights come out at the end and I was able to take my own picture of our group with our knight. Good thing I had cash, or she would have been out of luck. She came around at the end to deliver a little dish for her tip. They even wanted money to announce my daughter's birthday! The waitress was fine. A glass of wine was $9! They offer to take your photo, sell you souvenirs, upgrade your meal, etc. Every three minutes somebody comes around selling something. Cons - they will work very hard to separate you from your money. The show is paced very well, so you eat a little, then watch the show, then eat some more, etc. As soon as you are seated, they start feeding you. Pros- free parking, right off the highway. I had lemonade to drink, which tasted very good. For dessert, we each had a slice of lemon pound cake. The tomato soup and garlic bread at the beginning of the meal was outstanding, however. The chicken was dry, the potato needed more salt, and the corn on the cob was WAY overcooked. The first time I had found the fighting to be hokey and stale, but this time I found myself cheering loudly for our knight. I suppose my mood must have been better, because I had a great time. What an AMAZING difference it made! We were seated in the second row right in the middle of the arena. Worried about awful seats again, I paid $12 extra (per person) for a package to be seated in the first or second row. When my daughter said she wanted to go for her birthday, I have to say I was dreading it. The seats were tight, with the table right up to my middle, and my knees against the inside of the divider. Last time I was in the very back row against the wall, and trapped in my seat by the group next to me. I had been to Medieval Times one time before, and hated every minute of it. Hold tight to your wallet though, because they will try to drain it at every turn! :) It was actually really fun to eat with your hands though! At the end of the meal they give you a wet towel to clean your hands. Bring your own utensils if you don't want to eat with your hands because there are no utensils including straws. They have an alternative stew for vegetarians. Everyone gets soup, garlic bread, roasted chicken, corn on the cob, a baked potato, and piece of pound cake. Throughout the show the food is served to you in courses. You'll catch yourself screaming at the top of your lungs! It's just plain fun! The best part for me was the horses. The show was great!! Very entertaining even though our knight lost in the first round (Boo!.lol) No matter your age you will get into the show. If you want the pictures it will cost you an additional $16.04. Anyway as your seated, your sever starts to serve your first course (tomato basil soup) there's also staff going around selling various merchandise (just in case you missed it in the lobby) and taking pictures of you. If you have long legs or are a bigger person you might want to request to be seated in the yellow section where they have regular banquet chairs that can be pulled up/away from the table. It's typical stadium seating with the fold up seats. Once inside the stadium the staff direct you to your seats. Yes, that's right! $24 bucks for a plastic sword that lights up!! Towards the right of the lobby there is the "Museum of Torture" which will cost you an additional $2 per person to enter! We paid for the museum and it honestly wasn't worth the two bucks. The drinks are ridiculously priced! We spent $35 bucks on two drinks! (Ouch!) My son wanted a sword that cost $24. The gift shops are full of overpriced items. Once inside get ready to pull out your wallet and feel robbed at every turn! The lobby area is huge and filled with several gift shops. Depending on which package you ordered your directed towards the appropriate direction. As soon as you enter the staff show you were to go. Which was very convenient because the ticket tacker scanned them right from off of my phone. Anyway, the tickets were downloaded directly to my phone. Not really worth the extra money in my opinion. That was really the only benefit of this package. Yes, that's right $201.03!!! The King's Royalty package offered a group photo, priory seating and allows you to enter the stadium 20 minutes before the rest of the crowd. With the coupon savings we ended up spending $67.01 per person for a total of $201.03. I brought the Kings' Royalty Package which is $22 added to the base ticket price. I found an online coupon through Retailmenot that saved me $50 off the price. I ordered the tickets online through their website. I'll break down my experience from root-to-tip.
